From the ANTICA TOSCANA collection, this sculpture pendant is made of Sterling silver. It has a rhodium galvanic coating to protect the jewel from tarnishing and to donate to the metal a beautiful shiny white gold color.
The GRIFONE is a well-known creature in the area between Florence and Perugia. This legendary creature is the one that was towing Dante Aligheri’s wagon in the purgatory. It’s associated to protection and vigilance. This mythological creature reunites the dominant animal on the land (the Lion) with the dominant animal in the sky (the Eagle), to be the most perfect and powerful creature in the ancient cultural beliefs.
From the front view the size of the jewel is circa 26x42mm / 1×1.7in including the bail.

Inspired by the art and architectural elements of Tuscany, this collection is design with a very classic Renaissance touch and thought to remind us of all the beauty that is donated to us by the antique Italian civilizations.
All the gold pendants and some of the silver pendants include a chain and you can find information about it in the description.
Some other Sterling silver pendants have a "nochain" tag and written "Chain not included" in the description. In this case you can decide to use your own chain or buy one of the two lenghts of chain:
Normal - 19in/48cm in Sterling Silver, same color as pendant, can be clipped also shorter (at 17 or 18in / 43 or 45cm) (€45.00)
Long - 22in/56cm in Sterling Silver, same color as pendant, can be clipped also shorter (at 19.5 or 21in / 50 or 53cm (€55.00).
If the jewel's length is not enough you can add an EXTENTION (€15,00). This accessory is made of Sterling silver and has the same color as the jewel that you choose. It's made of big enough links to clip the cosure at any lenght you prefer and can make your jewel up to 15cm / 5.9in longer by simply adding it to the closure of the chain or bracelet. You can decide to cut the remaining extention with a simple wire cutter, if you don't need it's entire length, or just leave it hang out of the jewel like a chain charm.
This accessory is not available for some jewels which have a special clip closure, but in that case you will not see it as an option in the description.
